作者简介 威廉·柯林斯（Willian Wilkie Collins 1824-1889），是英国著名的神秘故事作家。1824年，柯林斯出生于英国伦敦。年轻时做过茶业商人。1846年进入林肯法学院学习法律。1851年成为律师。自1850年始，柯林斯开始了他的小说创作，先后出版了十多部长篇小说，其中著名的有《白衣女人》、《月亮宝石》等。
