《Sand and Stone 》阅读课教学设计
设计理念
《Sand and Stone 》处于九年级英语教材第六单元,引导学生通过对英语短文的阅读学习来审视自己的友情,学会正确处理朋友间的矛盾从而珍惜友谊是本课的主题。这篇阅读课贴近学生的生活实际,我们在教学中要着力关注学生的发展,让人与文,文与道相结合,在不断地阅读中感悟友情,从而解决自己生活中交友的困惑,走出误区和迷茫。
总之,让内容和教育做到有机的融合,聆听学生思想的拔节,是本节课所要体现的教学理念。
教学过程
一、 在交流中入课:朋友是什么?
师:(板书friend)大家一起读。What is friend ? Have you ever thought about it ? 然后让学生思考,然后老师导入课文《Sand and Stone 》。
二、 在阅读中品悟:朋友是什么?
初读:读通顺
让学生自己读课文,一边读一边找出自己不懂或不认识的单词或短语,然后让学生跟着录音读纠正发音,直到课文读通顺流畅,老师提问检查。
再读:读明白
学生读书自学找出短文里面短语或精彩句子,然后交流。老师总结到黑板上。

When someone hurts you ,you should write it in the sand from which the wind can erase it easily .However, When someone does something good for you ,you should carve it on the stone from which the wind can never erase it .
老师提示难点from which在定语从句中的用法,让学生背诵并掌握这些短语和句子。
三读:品悟朋友是什么
老师:There are two wonderful sentences in the story .Do you know where they are ? Let’s discuss them together and find the true meaning of friend .
同学们,这篇课文中有两个句子很精妙,你们知道是哪两个句子吗?让我们一起来探讨并品悟朋友的真正含义。
write it in the sand 与 carve it on the stone的精妙之处,体会并谈自己的感想。
三、在生活中追问:当和朋友产生矛盾时,朋友会做什么?
师:朋友是什么?不同的人有不同的答案,朋友是《狮子和老鼠》,是《蚂蚁和小鸟》;是《哈利波特》,是《西游记》。打开你的记忆,把五彩的生活放进来吧,拿起笔,去感悟,如果在生活中和朋友发生矛盾,你会怎么做呢?
