A gift to my parents
Hi, everyone! I’m Candy. I’m a lovely girl. I’m 10 years old.
I have a happy family. My father, my mother and I. I love my parents and my parents love me.
There are six letters in the word “FAMILY”. I think “F” means “father”,“A”means “and”, “M” means “mother”, “I” means “I”, “L” means “love” and “Y” means “you”. So “FAMILY” is the short form of “Father and mother, I love you.”
So I want to make a gift to my parents. But what can I do? Oh, I have a good idea. I would like to fold a thousand paper cranes for my parents.
I start to do it after school. I fold every crane after finishing my homework every day. The work is very hard and boring. But I belive I can finish it before New Year’s Day.
When I finish it, I am very happy. On New Year’s Day, I give my gift to my parents. They are too happy to say one word. I find they smile happily at the same time.
