In the past couple years I have been soaking up anything I can about starting an online business. However, I always seemed stuck when it came to launching a website that will provide online income. That is when I came across Scott Fox's Click Millionaires ebook. Because I had heard of him before, through some other online sources, I decided to purchase his book.
Backing up a bit, I usually read many books as I lay in bed on my Kindle Fire because I can read it in the dark. Unfortunately for my sleep I was unable to put down this book. Scott has an easy to read style and he offered good tips to follow and this is when I had my Ah Ha Moment.
My takeaways from this book include the following:
1. I always draw a blank when I sit down to write a newsletter but Scott provided an easy to follow newsletter format to use for your weekly e-newsletters that I will use for my blog.
2. Scott also used the term "filter businesses" which I hadn't heard before (maybe I am under a rock/ maybe not) and this is where I got my Ah Ha Moment for my new website: www.runopedia.com, thanks Scott. I consider my website a filter business and credit Scott for leading me down that path.
3. Also a term that Scott coined called noozles is something that I enjoyed reading about meaning my enews will begin as noozles then I hope to progress to online publisher in due time.
So, I highly recommend this ebook for online marketing tips/techniques, email marketing/ noozles and online publisher information.
I grabbed this Kindle book one day on a whim. It was the best $10 I ever spent.
As someone else said, the title is misleading. I expected another gimmicky book with vague instructions on how to "get rick quick" on the internet. Most of these books are just lots of fluff. Not this one. This is the one that finally got me to quit reading about it and actually DO something.
After a few chapters, I had a notebook full of thoughts, dreams, and ideas. By the end of the first week, I had a website up. A month later, now, I have built up a following on Twitter and Facebook, and my website is starting to see traffic. I have made contacts in my chosen field. I can actually see building a lifestyle business with this that I can retire with! I haven't made any money yet, but I've done something better. I've started to position myself as an expert in my field, and I'm excited to get out of bed every morning on my days off and work on this thing. The future looks so bright!
When you buy the book, you get so much value for your money. You get a free membership to the Click Millionaires online forum. The people there are SO friendly and helpful. Scott discourages you from spending big bucks on a course from a "guru", and instead encourages slow, steady growth of your lifestyle business. The result will be something you can be proud of, not just another forgotten attempt at making money online (I've had plenty of those).
Scott Fox is the real deal, and you're not going to go broke taking his advice. Buy the book!
