The small windows and narrow eaves in Mediterranean-styled houses are designed according to the strong sunshine and hot climate.In the west bank of America, this kind of house is popular because of its sameclimate with the Mediterranean area and it is unsuitable in most places of China actually, but such houses are arranged all around China, just like the fake Taj Mahal in Bengal, which is a laughingstock in the world.As a big country with over one billion populations, the architectural styles of Chinese houses are affected strongly by foreign cultures, from this we couldfind the self-distrust, self-dispride, and untaste of Chinese nation with 5000years of civilization. We could not enjoy the true culture through the simpletransplant and imitation. When we travel in the third world countries, not the realestate project of foreign styles rather than the local styled houses leave a deepimpression to the travelers, so we will respect the people in that place for theirconfidence and self-pride.Being national means being international, the Chinese traditional culture hasits own spirit. The Chinese residential culture is also full of taste and quality.We hope that the Chinese featured houses could become the main streamin architectural field, the foreign-styled houses would disappeared, and theproperties of international styles would be the history in future China, and thereal estate market will be mature at that moment.
