内容简介 《世说新语》(蔡志忠漫画中英文版)是漫画英文版，《世说新语》是中国魏晋南北朝时期“志人小说”的代表作，由〔南朝宋〕刘义庆编撰。依内容有：“德行”、“言语”、“政事”、“文学”等，共三十六类，每类收有若干则，全书共一千多则，每则文字长短不一，有的数行，有的三言两语，从此可见笔记小说“随手而记”的特性。
作者简介 蔡志忠，台湾著名漫画家。1999年12月8日获得荷兰克劳斯王子基金会颁奖，表彰他通过漫画将中国传统哲学与文学作出了史无前例的再创造。蔡志忠从十五岁起便开始成为职业漫画家。1976年成立龙卡通公司，拍摄了《老夫子》、《乌龙院》等长篇动画电影，曾获1981年金马奖最佳卡通片奖。1983年开始创作四格漫画，至今己有《庄子说》、《老子说》、《大醉侠》、《光头神探》等100多部作品在44多个国家和地区以多种语种版本出版，销量超过了4000万册！他连续两年获台湾10名畅销书作家之首。蔡志忠用简洁生动的线条描绘了一部部颇具影响的漫画书，在台湾、香港、新加坡、日本、马来西亚等地广受欢迎。他的作品庄子说、老子说、禅说、史记、西游记、聊斋系列等开启了中国古籍经典漫画的先河。
