作者简介 Michael Kruger was born in Wittgendorf in 1943. He is an author, a publisher and a critic. He joined the Carl Hanser Verlag in Munich in 1968 and became its publisher in 1986. He is also the editor of the literary magazine Akzente. His prizes include the prestigious Peter-Huchel-Preis. In 1996 he was awarded the Prix Medicis Etranger.
