内容简介 Evoking the sheer, epic scale of combat and its appalling impact across the globe, this is a unique telling of the Second World War in all its brutal intensity. Thought provoking, compelling first hand accounts from both civilians as well as those who fought, merged with evocative photographs make this an explosive read. Ideal for all the family, this is an essential chronicle of the conflict that defined the modern world.
