作者简介 斯蒂芬·克拉斯纳，康奈尔大学历史学学士、哥伦比亚大学国际关系硕士、哈佛大学政治学博士。现任斯坦福大学政治学系的国际系学Graham H.stuart头衔教授。他的研究方向主要是主权、美国外交和国际经济关系中的政治因素等。曾任教于哈佛大学和加州大学洛杉矶分校。1984-1991年任斯坦福大学政治系主任。他还是美国艺术与科学学院院士，美轻声外关系委员会成员。著有Defending the national interest:raw material investment and unitd states foreign policy等。主编著作除本书外，还有exploration and contestation in the study of world politics等。
